August 3: OACAC School Fair. We will have a booth at the fair to educate students and parents about how important it is to protect our natural resources. We will also be able to present in class presentation ideas for educators.

October 27: Cassville Chili and Salsa Cook off. The Barry County SWCD will have both to educate landowners about services we have available. For educators with will be a chance to view materials and ideas we have for classroom presentations that they can take advantage of for free! We will be applying temporary tattoos for kids of all ages at no cost. The tattoos have animals and a conservation message on them.
November 7: Regional Envirothon. This event is for high school classes that want to form a team to show off their knowledge of Forestry, Aquatics, Wildlife, Soils, and Oral Presentation. Teams are graded and the top teams go to the State Envirothon.

December 1: Cassville Christmas Parade. We are planning to have a float in this event! Hope everyone can make it out to enjoy the night!
